Saurav is the Founding member of Community Friendly Movement CFM. He has worked in building infrastructure in areas of Water Conservation and Agriculture productivity since 2005. 

For his work on SwaNigamit (Self Corporatized Panchayat) he was conferred Ashoka Fellowship in 2016. Together with his team he built the model of monetizing natural resources at Panchayat level towards Water Reclamation Water Sovereignty and Farm to Furnace sector supply chain. The Critical aspect of his work is youth engagement to create sustainable – hyper local entrepreneurship model that ensure asset maintenance and their monetization at Panchayat Level.
